transmission?

i am new to tegs and hondas and have a 1990 integra ls four door b18a1 vtec and need to kno wat short throw shift trnsmission i could put on it and if its possible...

you are making many contradictions...1. b18a never had vtec, unless you have a ls vtec. and 2. short throw transmissions dont exist. you either get a short throw shifter or a shorter final driver for your transmission. since i think you want short throw shifter get a b&m

ya i dont kno the first think bout honda engines and everything i have read said b18a is non vtec but everyone that has seen it says it has the wires so im confused on that and the transmission wats short final drive?

B18a is non-VTEC. It came in all 90-93 Integra's except the GSR. 90-93 (92 was the first year of the GSR, actually) GSR's got a B17a, which is VTEC.

You can do an LS/VTEC to your engine, or you can swap in a whole VTEC engine.

you may be wired for vtec or have a ls vtec already. does your motor say DOHC VTEC on the top or no?
and a short final drive makes the gears shorter so you can get up to speed faster

no it doesnt and thats the first reason i didnt think it did and how do i do that to my transmission cuz thats also wat i want

Instead of replacing the transmission gears, just get a GSR or a jdm b16 cable trans. Much easier than changing out the final drive. I believe the GSR trans is a YS1 and the jdm b16 is a y1(could be S1 though, I always get those two confused).
