vtec header dumb question

I see a vtec gsr header online sellin I was wondering, I have an ls nonvtec can I put this on gsr vtec header on my ls??? Would there be mechanical issues or would it be a fitment issue????

It should bolt up to the head. You might need to weld a bung on it for an O2 sensor depending on the year. And there might be length issues dependent on the year as well.

What year is your car and what year is the header made for?

buy the header and a blox test pipe but stock header isnt worht money

I thought it might not bolt up correctly so I thought I'd ask it's a 4-1 header for the gsr but I have an 94 ls I thought it might make a difference in performance.... Probably not though. When I did my exhaust I didn't change c. Converter so I think I will have to when I change the header but not quite sure on that either

Are you guys sure there's a length difference between headers for the 94-97's? I think it will bolt right up, LS or GSR. The length difference was for 98+. Cuz my old DC header wouldn't bolt up to my friend's 2000 Type R

IMO its just cost effective to just buy the LS header and do a direct install

ls/rs/ge header is longer then the gsr header.. yes I know for sure! We build the headers for these cars now.

only for smog....you want power you will most likely put on illegal or "off road use only" parts on

GSR is shorter than ls. and if not he has himself a test pipe that changes length.

Ahh ok. I was thinking of this LS header my friend had that fit a GSR but I forgot it was a cat-delete ha.

Well the gsr header is for 94-97 the one I was lookin at I thought I would bolt on since the same time frame but then thinking bak it's a different type hence the question

ALL B SERIES headers will fit its just the fitment to the cat thats different, they flange may be clocked a different way or header length is different
