do a stock airbox mod get and get a decent filter(comptec,k&N,spoon,ect... it will flow just as good as a short ram if not better. the password jdm power chamber intake is good for 20 hp, only thing is you'd have to swap in a k20 to get those gains. lol

parts list
94-01 oem ls intake box and pipe or any 96-00 TypeR - oem airbox, those work a bit better. Gsr won't work due to the length and angle of the intake manifold. DB gsr intake may work but don't quote me on that.

the pic isn't that great of an angle but the owner made a notch in the light so air could pass to the intake making a direct flow ram air. I plan on doing that to mine,I just need the time.

I did the stock airbox mod!!! I'll post some pics when I get it. no more power dip and throttle response is way better now.

^PWD JDM will not add 20hp on any application on it's own. DIY Icebox is easy and always a good option. You can make an SRI out of anything really. Get some piping and a nice filter.

haha i just used my friends old intake off his Subaru.

its just an " L" bend straight up, and the filter stick out of the hood.....:0
