is an O2 sensor on the header?

I drive a Reject Special
i am interested in looking for a header and i wanted to know about whether or not there is an o2 sensor attached to it on the stock one. if there is, do i need to take the one that i end up getting to an exhaust shop and get them to attach one to it? thanks in advance

the header should have a bung on it, just unscrew your old one and put it in the new header.

the oxygen sensor hole is on the "down pipe". About 6" before the cat. Headers that are made for the car should have the correct provisions made on them.

Not all of them do. I know my 96 GSR did not have an o2 sensor in the header. What model is your car?

as long as you buy the right header for your car then it should come with a hole in it already for your O2 sensor. on the GSR's the O2 is on the cat
