Code Alarm 650..

Obviously we all know that alarm systems aren't a "cure-all" for the sickness known as car thieves. However, I was given this alarm and was just wondering if anyone had experiences with it... good or bad. :drive:

Go with a Compustar, Clifford or Viper unit.

How does a remote short out in your pocket?

I have no clue, but I was outside about 20ft from my car and my car started chirping (alarm on, alarm off) so I reached into my pocket and grabbed my keys and the handheld thing was f'in hot. So I ripped off the battery cover (melted) and took the battery out (HOT). I have no idea why it happened.

i have code in my car now blows away the viper alarm i had before way more options on the code alarm and a lifetime warrenty viper is 6 months and thats about when vipers shit the bed code is good shit good sensitivity levels can have windows down and put ya arm through will go off very good alarm
