Brake light won't go off

well i was driving home last night and realized my brake light was on and i thought the brake was up but its down any one have any idea why its on is there a sensor that will keep it on help please let me know if any one has a clue...:what:

There is a sensor in the cap. Check your fluid level. The float inside the cap can get stuck so try cleaning and messing with it.

Or else check your E-brake connector, the little tap where it touch your frame(-) when your pull up your E-brake, it could be stuck.

this guy i used to hang with did it one day he was over

it also can be the brake relay on the brake pedal. The way u see if its not working is u unplug it if it goes off the its time to get a new one or u could just check that stuff they told u to check already.

my car did the same thing. the the plastic thing that pushes the relay in on the pedal was broken, easy fix.
