My windshield wiper turn on randomly.

A few days ago, I turned on my car and my wipers turned on randomly even though the switch was off. They dont stay on forever. When there are not randomly on, I can turn on the switch and they do work. Today, they just randomly started wiping when i had been driving for a bit. If I stop and turn off the car and turn it back on, the wipers stop. When I am driving on a sunny day like today, it looks kinda weird that I have the wipers going for sooo long! I have to stock up on windshield wiper fluid to keep up with this. HELP!!!!

do u know where it is located and how do i check for a short circuit? thanks

where what is your switch? It is the thing that goes up and twists lol. Checking for a short is a BIATCH. Get a book, and look at the wiring diagram get the color of the wire and follow it where it may go.. =)

lol that happened on my plymouth mini van....sucked because its fl and the blades already sucked and they were going against the glass randomly.... i just pulled the fuse and whenever it rained i just threw it back in and it was good for awhile.... also seemed that it may have been just the fuse so may want to replace it
