So are you just running straight headers or are you using a test pipe?

Dude just get a code reader or ask a mechanic to read it for you.

I don't know anyone with the OBD connector for this year. I don't have anything.. its just a manifold and the extender pipe right before the cat starts.. but thats all I have no cat.. just mani and ext. the code comes on then I turn car off and when turned back on it doesn't stay on... its like interm

Hmm....

And you already replaced your o2 sensor?

you can jump it and read the flashing led. a shop with a snap on or equivalent scanner can read the code for you, i dont think the parts stores use a compatable scanner

The parts store only have an OBD-II scanner with a few different connections. I don't think any of them keep OBD-I at all.

Yeah I've never seen an obd-1 reader at pep boys lol. Is your car running funny at all?

no I have not replaced any sensors... I just was wondering because I AM positive its the O2 sensor throwing it. Like I said it goes off when I turn my car off and on. Stays off until I stop, being that I think its the wind coming back at the exhaust because I have it all cut off up to the down pipe and its hitting the o2 sensor. the car is not running funny, and my uncles shop that I use to work at has the part I need I just don't have time to stop in before 6 which is when he closes. So it kinda sux

My main question is. The fact that it turns off afer shutting car off its okay right? Its not like gonna blow up...

its just resetting when you turn you car off, honestly you could drive a long time with it on but get it checked :)
