Thinking about parting out the DA...

Hey guys, With the way things are going for me right now I don't know if I want to keep her I bought her for 900 and there are some rust issues. not really really bad but on the rear wheel wells and the hatch. 214000 miles. Her Dizzy is out and I am a lead singer of a band now so I don't plan on using her anymore. I love Integras and I don't know if I should keep her, sell her, or part her out. I need help guys. Well I am going to be honest. I would take in hand how much money you have. If you don't have much to spend, then part her out or sell it. When time comes get a new one in good condition.

Heres the honest part. PARTS IT OUT SO I CAN GET PARTS lol jk Seriously sell or it if you have money. fix it

I have money. I have just seen the price of s2000's go down a lot and I can afford one now but it will take like 10 months of saving. I could fix the DA and get her back on the road or I can sell my parts here. We can never find parts for DA's. I sold my DC, now thinking about selling the DA and getting an AP. Money isn't an issue. I planned on making a sick DA and now when I have a DA in one hand and an S2000 in the other I want to keep the DA but I don't need 2 cars.

Well then if ou really don't want it. Part it all out, I am sure you will sell it all. Because I am just one person alone and I need a hood, trunk, cv axle, and so on.

well i personallly would save for the s2k and im not saying that because i have a DA sitting in my driveway im saying that because id much rather roll up in a s2000 than a classic 2nd gen.

That's why I love the DA. It's a classic and they look great but an s2k? just dayum. Ok I will get pics up to show all.

Make a good choice dude. Don't lose out on cash. If its just a dizzy. and its in good cond then you can get like 1200-1500 for it depending on everything else

I was gonna trade my DA9 in and ITS FULL OF RUST EVERYWHERE, and chevy was gonna give me 1800 for it with 180k on it so. think about it

That's what I am affraid of. I paid 900 and I have to get more than that for it. the car is loaded too.

loaded.. is that white thing it? if so then you should get more than 900. Do this, go on KBB and be honest. Remember After market parts don't really boost value. So just put a interior/exterior/engine condition through kbb and the miles. IF it says more then sell it, if not part it out. It is a 4 cyl so it should be more money since gas is going back up.

i hate to say it but if you can afford it I would go witht the s2k. Its a sweet car and at least its still a honda.

I will never own anything but a Honda. Hondas are my favorite by far. Even if I had millions I would still drive Honda til death.

take your wheels off, and sell it as is. parting out a car isnt fun... cause then you end up with all the useless parts sitting in a box and a shell in your driveway no one wants.
