what to do with a B20 on a $3,000 budget??

Ok folks, i just slapped a B20 on my 92 integra and this would be my first at a B20, so i am looking for suggestions on what can be done all motor, or Vtech to this engine, the goal is to reach 230hp to the wheels, so if any of you have suggestions, i would greatly appreciate it. The only thing done is a customized exhaust that was there before the swap, 2.5 inches, and a cold air intake, otherwise stock as it can be.

well how far can you go on a B20 as far as horsepower without turbo, NOS, or supercharger?? i am thinking 230 because of how light my car is, but if i can get passed 250 high compression, or all motor, i would love to know how?

How much power you make depends on how far you go with the build. Try doing some research first. Is your DA completely gutted?

TURBO!!! its not a supercharger or nos TURBO!!! with 3k you could have a wicked turbo kit on that thing

That's one tough build if you wanna keep it reliable. Although I would definitely like to see it done. I think you're on to something...

That makes sense, i think i am going to resleeve it, build it vtech and maybe some nos, thanks for the help, will update my profile as i build it up step by step, right now i am putting gsr gears on the tranny.

Personally I wouldn't run NOS, if you're looking for dependability. Skip it and P&P the VTEC head.

i say do b20/vtec fully built and water meth injection then boost her

piece a custom turbo kit together you can do it easy with 3 grand but of course build your engine first. With out vtec you can still have a reliable turbo b20 with more than 250. I say boost=)
