They just have metric size increments on them for reference.huh, pics?
True, but those wore off. Now it just has the word metric, which was a cast mark. They just have metric size increments on them for reference.
New to the boards, but this is a good suggestion^. Replaced spark plug wires, rotor button, and a few other things about a month ago. The anti-seize lube is a cheap, but effective, product.I recommend putting some anti seize lube on the threads also.
3-5 dollars.About how much does anti seize lube cost? The Integra I'm looking into getting needs a tune up, and if I'm going to replace the plugs I might as well do it right.
I've always just pulled them off. The side they are on are basically just a stud, not the gapped portion so there isn't anything to hold them too hard.k im pretty sure i can do this but i just dont get this part.. how to disconnect the lines from the sparkplug itself.. i belive u remove the wire then unbolt the plugs.. ive never done this befor cept on a pocket bike when i was a kid lol.... is there a tool to remove the wires from the sparkplug? im pretty sure u do not just pull them off..
x2 on remembering where they go. That is very important, you don't want them going off in the wrong sequence.Just pull them straight out and remember where they go.
Exactly. If you aren't replacing them, ie using the same wires and all, make sure you just wrap masking tape around each wire numbering 1 through 4 and you'll have no issues when you pop the plug wires back on top of the plugs.Just pull them straight out and remember where they go.
