OMG it has VTEC?
So what are you doing for fuel management? to just take it on and off for weekends? Just keep it on man that doesn't make sense to keep taking it off. Because what would you do for engine management and a tune switching back and forth?
I guess you could just not get a tune, run an fmu and use a fuel controller, thats always a good idea

I don't think Skunk2 makes injectors..... No offense or anything, but maybe you should try to learn more about the process and everything before getting in over your head.

You can't just set the psi to 0. What you could do is unhook the intercooler piping. So therefore, it's not boosting.

And for the tunes. Just have a Chipped ECU tuned and everything, and switch ECU's when you unbolt your intercooler piping.

^Sounds good. It's always better to learn how something works before trying to dick with it.

Any more questions? Feel free to shoot.

How about on weekdays just don't hit boost and on weekends go crazy. Its not going to just blow up if you are driving normal.

Like teggybear said research research research.

How many miles are on your car?

It sounds like you need to do a bit more research before you just jump into this. There is a lot more to a proper turbo set up than just bolting on the exhaust manifold and a compressor bypass valve(aka blow off). You need the appropriate fuel set up, oil feed and return lines, coolant lines( if applicable), a good tune, etc. There is a lot that goes into making it a reliable motor.

Proper turbo setup, and I'm surprised no one said anything yet about proper turbo SIZE. That t3/t4 50 trim is not going to be good for a measly little 5 PSI setup. You need a little t25 or something smaller like that. The t3/t4 you posted won't doo too much until you get it up to 10-15 PSI ++. You'd never get that turbo into its efficiency range only pushing 5 PSI.

Thanks couldn't have said it better myself. This thread is on the verge of ridiculous. You can't take your turbo on and off whenever you want...that's insane! YES you do need injectors, fuel pump and a tune...turbos aren't magical objects that get you power by just installing one! You need to do some good research and lots of it. There are plenty of good places to start...like here...
