Where to find

Can't wait for my GSX!
Hey all,

I've given some thought and I might do a front bumper conversion, possibly the rear as well. I have a 94' Integra RS 2Dr hatchback. What options do I have to put on to the front, rear and side skirts with a lip kit that would fit flush and wouldn't need to much fabrication? If it does need any work to fit what would be needed? I'm thinking of going with a JDM or GSR type conversion with a lip rather than a body kit but not sure which would be better. Please let me know. Also do you know where I could pick up said parts? Haven't been able to find anything other than my original stock ones and body kits. Thanks in advance!

The JDM conversion is going to take some work. You will need to weld a new radiator support to the front end. It is also pretty expensive. You may be able to source your parts for 1500, but the will typically go for $2000+. If you dont do the labor, then its more money. AND you will have to repaint the panels, and bumper, or repaint your whole car.

The cheaper conversion is going to a 98-01 front end. You will need new headlights, and a new front bumper. I dont know if the fenders or the hood is interchangeable between the years. The upside of this is you will have a mroe stylish front end, and you will be able to get the parts in the same color as yuor vehicle, with a bit of searching.

Yeah I finally found it on PasswordJDM and it's going to be roughly $3000.00 shipped. I can do all the work minus the painting. The car needs a new paint job anyway down the line. Might go with the SiR-G (Sp?) one since it's cheaper but not sure. If I'm going to spend that much which came to about $2600.00 then I might as well spend the extra on the other JDM ITR. But I'll check into the 98-01 front end conversion as well. Thanks again!

The SIR-G kit will come with chrome housing headlights, which are non-HID. The type r's come with black housing headlights and can be either HID or non-HID. You can surely put HID lights into the projecters of non-HID housings, but they wont have as clean of a cutoff as the HID housings. You could do a retrofit and have a better beam pattern on the SiR-G lights, and paint the housings black while youre at it.

sir-g will definately save you on costs.
With the Sir-g couldn't I just order/add in some HID lights or wouldn't they fit or work right? Is there radiator work like with the ITR front? Anyone have a pic of a Sir-g front end? They have a shot on the site but it's all broken down. Then I would still need a rear bumper and skirts. Thanks guys!
