speaker crackling/popping

Sounds like either a loose connection, or a chaffed wire that's touching metal for a split second and knocking out the sound. If a wire for just one speaker gets shorted, it'll knock out the sound to all four speakers.

I like Diamond Audio speakers, JL Audio subs, and Alpine radio's and old school Precision Power amps (1995-2003).

Are you talking about wires that are on the headunit or the wires that come out from the speakers? I'm about to go check

I just checked all the wires, my front left speaker wire came loose. Fixed that and now everything works like normal, no crackling/popping noise. Thanks guys!
