high rpm

when im on the highway for me to catch up to other people my rpm goes up to 4k
i dont know why but it does and when i stop then starting on 1st gear going to second
2nd gear is about at 2.5k to 2.75k then shifts at 3rd and then its the same thing over again
with 4th gear 2.5k to 2.75k and they all run out shortly....
i have a stock integra with an exhaust with stock piping....
does anyone know why my rpm is running so high???

lol, I had to read it afew times to understand it...

He's asking why his car stays in high RPMs with normal driving, Pretty much...

Mine does that, Its because mine has a 93 GSR YS1 Transmission. Its for faster acceleration, Kills the top speed though... You might want to look at your transmission closer for the YS1 sticker.

lmao me too. and yeah sometimes ys1 trannys shift faster and those rpms arent really that high at all.

It's on the transmission. You should be able to read it from the top.

i dont see it though me and my friend looked and its not there?
maybe because its so oily?
