So I'm turning 16 in a few months and I was thinking about an integra. I'm leaning more toward the 2nd generation since the looks appeal to me the most. So I just had a few little questions. Is the 2nd gen reliable? Since I am a student in high school cash isn't one of my strong points at the moment. Is there a certain trim level I should be looking for? This car would be a daily driver and I would like to mod it as time progresses. Also wondering what are some cheap and easy modifications to make the car a bit more sporty. I know cheap and performance are an oxymoron but just help a brotha out. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to CI. Really when looking for a 2nd gen and you have a tight money limit, A 5 speed LS is perfect. I just bought one for 900. But it also depends on what you want. do some research. Find out if you do want to mod the car and what exactly you would mod. I love mine and I will love her more once she has a hydraulic Transmission. Again Welcome and I think these are very reliable. Watch for rust too. Coming from the northeast.

You are very welcome and trust me on this Coilovers? Worth the money. you may have to save up a lot but you will be very happy with it. as far as brand talk to the other guys about that. I like Skunk2 Pro S personally. Do what you want with the car. it is yours. we are here to help but only you can make the decisions. Don't worry about what other people think of your car. do what makes you happy. we like to start from the ground up. Since we have tegs they all come with a nosebleed lift.

Yeah coilovers are a plus. I don't mind a rough ride, as long I get something in return. Yeah I usually don't mind what people think. I just wanted to get steered in the right direction. I just want a quick little car that can show bigger cars its not about engine size in the twisties.

if your cool with a rough ride then the pro s is ideal for you.those and the form and function coilovers are the cheapest for da's.
