Need help with my Ls

So I parked the car. Then the next day I was getting ready to leave but the car would not want to turn over. It would not start any ideas??? Thanks

Is the battery dead? Does it try to start up? What noises does it make?

A little more description? (Not trying to be rude) but it could be a number of things i just had this problem also. Does it even make the "start up" noise a little bit? If so try jumping the battery, otherwise it could be you're alternator, or.....distributor. : / Mine happened to be the distributor expensive fix around $700. (well it was for me).

Well when you crank it it will just keep spinning and it just won't turn on. U can hear the fuel turn on then when you crank it it just won't turn on it sounds the though when your trying to start it.

why don't you go beat up on your starter with a hammer. from what i hear from this site, it helps.

haha, that's exactly what i was told also. I guess if that works try it. But i wouldn't depend on that, something would end up going bad. I would try maybe jumping the battery / check the voltage of the battery. If it's low then could just be the battery. Otherwise the alternator / distributor. : /

He says it keeps cranking or at least thats what im getting from that. ^^^^^ It just wont turn over. check obvious things like spark and gas those would be the first things I'd check any way.

if it will spin and not turn on, its not the starter

check for spark
check for fuel
check for comp.

edit- did it just shut off? you could have snapped the timing belt
