Torque for the valve cover bolts?

Alright I am pretty sure I am going to take off my valve cover soon because I have no idea if the timing belt was changed or not. I want to see if its glazed or cracked. My question is what is the torque to the bolts because I cannot find it anywhere on google. I am going to replace the gasket if anyone wants to hound me

lol I just realized I left all my torque gear at my dads shop in a diff state, I have done intakes without torque wrenches before and it worked but that was a REAL LONG time ago, and I probably got lucky. Can I do that to a valve cover on a 1.8

too much and you snap a bolt...
