An Update on 99sil-teg

you get any crap from cops about your tints? i'm thinking of getting mines tinted about that dark..maybe a little lighter. how much was yours? this shop where i live says they will do rear and both side windows for $140.

That's a good price for a tint job if it's quality work. I would just do 20 all the way around.

140 is pretty good, I just did legal, that way I wouldn't get hassled. Its 35% on the front sides and the rest is 20%. I could have gone darker on the rest but I thought it looked cleaner this way. 35% is the darkest I could go on the fronts... state law...

they must be really bored out by you if they pull you over for tint.. half the time they will catch you with something else than throw out that your tint illegal.. too much paperwork just for little tint law. What really gets me is new cars have limo tint(or dark tint) on their cars or some kind of tint)on front windshield and the cops dont do crap about that... ooh well:roll:

My mom had a 01 beetle that was silver with 20% all around (well not on the windshield) and she got pulled over 3 times in one month. after that I decided it wasn't worth and cops get bored around here, heck I got a ticket for license plate cover ... I wasn't jacking around or anything I was on my way back to work...

Sorry no pics yet (hopefully very soon)

Still haven't gotten to the VC lol, and I just ordered honda badges for the back trunk lid since I have to wait on repainting my car. I will try to get pics Tues or Weds (weather has been for crap)

What happened to your front-right fender or is that just an effect on the pic or something? And is that a greddy ti-c?

Yeah I know I need a lip lol, and it will prob stay that height, roads around here suck plus I can barely in and out of a lot or driveways around here cuz MO roads suck
