It seems likely that the driver side rotor may just be warped. That will cause the pad on that particular wheel to wear much faster.

................Unless someone was actually dumb enough to change only one side

Well for the window its getting the window motor and track from a teg with pw all you have to do is wire it up I believe there is a how to on g2ic.com as for the brakes? Could be the the rotor needs to be turned or the caliper sticking on that side replace the front 2 and monitor them every 2 - weeks

Then it will give you better idea of how each is doing

He may not need to replace the calipers, but it definitely means he needs to get his hands dirty to diagnose the problem. The pins in the caliper bracket could be sticking/frozen causing the pad to stay against the rotor and quickly wearing down. If its not the pin but the piston, you could replace the whole assembly, or get a rebuild kit. Im not familiar with the piston, but the pin was stuck on the rear of my g3, and since relpacing the pin+lubing it up, it works fine.

brake wear

first of all were the pad replaced on both sides at the same time. if so i would first turn your rotors. see if tht helps. secondly check the piston. if it is frozen in position you are goiing to have mjor problelms in the end. check you brake lines and make sure that they have been bled properly. it could be as simple as a bubble in the line that is causing it not to depress properly.

just my 2$ lol.:D
