An Update on 99sil-teg

Well I have some big and exciting news!!!!

My dad and I are going to straighten out my body and paint it!

When we do this we are planing to shave everything we can, badges, deal for the rear washer, side trim, antenna. I am pretty pumped, we are going to do it slowly over the weekends but I will try to take pic going through the progress and btw, no more pin stripe lol

Yeah my dad paints motor cycles and he said if I do all the body work (basically sand it all out) and bought all the stuff he would paint it for nothing. (I'm sure I will have to repay in some kind of work though lol) But yeah I am pretty stoked.

I'd be stoked too. I can't wait to paint the DB8 after I rebuild the B18C1.

Alright tomorrow, I am taking my car apart pretty much and straightening out my driver fender some more and also putting on the gsr strut bar, I will update with some pics hopefully this weekend after its all said and done lol

Edit: I forgot I got my nice new non cracked windshield installed today :D

Well saturday, I didn't get much done lol, I banged around on the fender a little more but it doesn't look much different, I decided against pulling it all the way off. I put my gsr strut bar on but the bolts are a little long so I need to cut them off a little.

Sunday... didn't get much done either lol, I painted both mirrors flat black... they actually turned out pretty good, also repainted my windshield wiper arms and got new blades.

No pics yet (weather has been for crap lately around here) but I will get some pics soon, also will be painting my vc in the next couple weeks... I say that long bc its my wifes bday this weekend and prob won't get anything done this weekend lol

Lol nice. Don't even trip, I never get anything done on weekends anyway either. Lol.

Sounds fun though. Nice work, and get some pics up
