i was wondering if anybody has any ideas for removing lettering off a vehicle. im in charge of delettering a van with wording on it, i start to peel them and all they do is break and start to peel the paint off and leave glue behind. i was thinking heat or something. didnt know if anyone knew a easier way? thanks guys

Plastic razor blade. If the sticker is really old, heat will help some. Acetone will work decent for removing the glue.

you can try fishing line, or what I did on my other car was heat it up a lil with a blow dryer and then go for it, but be careful not to mess up the paint

Dental floss too with a hair dryer works wonders for me. Fishing line is stronger but everyone has dental floss somwhere in the house lol.

^^ THat's what I thought. lol

plastic razor blade my friend. They are great to have around anyways.
agreed. That's what the detailers use at the dealership to take pinstripes off of Cadillac's..... cant imagine it being bad for the car if they're willing to use it on a brand new cadi. lol
