Pic request: headliner reupholstery

ok I will when we do roberts headliner CI username: RD408

its really easy to do, but just a pain in the ass to take everything apart.
you have to take out ur back seats remove the visors rear view mirror dome light oshit bar weather stripping all around left and right rear panels a pillars rear window covers trunk light and more haha i litterally tore my teg to pieces and put it back together in 2 hrs haha

its pretty easy, once you get the door off you remove the existing material and just cut a rough rectangle that will fit the space you want to cover. spray some type of aresol adhesive on the panel and put the suede on like you would a decal. heres a diy on it

follow the step by step and ur all golden :)

just make sure to apply the adhesive very thuroughly around the corners!!! mines starting to lift up because I didnt know how much to use dont be afraid to really really get it sticky.

btw did you go over ur cloth or pull it all off then put ur material on?

i pulled it off and cleaned the crap out of it cause the old adhesive was all stuck on there haha
i think u can do it both ways but its better to take off the old stuff.

if your doing it take pix when ur done!!!

I'm gunna do mine but it might be awhile bc I have to find exactly what I am looking for. I'm not doing a solid pattern.... I am think blk plaid... and I just haven't found exactly what I want, but I will post pics

check local fabric stores or stuff online! it shouldnt be that expensive you only need a yard for the headliner i got extra cause i wasnt sure but I ended up having too much lol

Yeah I went looking today locally. I think me and the wife are going to go to kansas city and see if they might have it. I am looking for some pretty exact... like I have the idea in my head I just haven't seen anything close yet.
