Whys that?If you're gonna go boost, dont bother with Vtec, just stay LS
So if built right....a LS motor can put down 400+? Im familiar with h22's...not b series...so any info will help.Its just a matter of personal opinion. I think that unless your going to fully build an LS/Vtec, boost is too risky unless you have a hell of a tuner. Ive just seen it end in disaster if not built correctly
Yes, Vtec heads flow much better than non-vtec. If youre going to port the head anyway(which you should), that shouldnt be a factor in your decision.if you can do an ls/vtec boost i think its better then just boostin just an ls. Just build it right you should be fine

Old thread son.i got as buddy boosted his lsv stock 18psi only thing he has done is arp headstuds 4bar map sensor and a tune and he races at the track all the time and runs that car and beats on it and its still running great hasnt blown anything or distry his motor and has had it for over a year
