Injector swap questions

Hey guys, names matt just joined i had a question regarding injectors for a 95 teg ls with the b18b1, I'm turboing it and i was curious if there are any cars i could find in a junkyard with bigger injectors that i could just bolt in, i'm only planning to run around 6 or 7 psi of boost so i don't really need anything overkill also would the stock injectors with the pressure kicked up be able to give it the fuel that is needed or is it necessary to change them out to larger ones any help would be appreciated also does anyone know the part number for the spark plugs i'm going to need, someone told me i would have to run colder plugs thanks

try to find dsm 450, you can get them cheap, and if your not obd1, you'll need new clips, and yeah talk to your tune but most people run one range colder for the plug

I believe they are DSM 440's not 450s. I think they are known as the "bluetops." And yes as previously stated you will need OBD1 injector clips or a conversion harness if you aren't obd1 already. And yes colder plugs are needed no matter what and they need to be gapped tighter for boost. The plugs of choice and what I run are NGK BKR7E's. They should be gapped around .030" That should have helped you ;)

DSM blue tops are 450cc unless worked by RC Engineering, then they are 465cc. 2g injectors are also 450cc stock.1g automatics had 390cc. Yellow tops are 510cc

O ok...for some reason i was thinking 440cc....o well.

So there are no injectors that come straight out of another car and will bolt into mine then? and will i be ok with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator and no tune with only 6 lbs of boost seriously? (no biased or cocky know it all opinions please) I really appreciate all the help

Define "ok." And i don't think this answer is cocky at all. But if you mean ok to drive....no you won't be. The "fmu" you are referring to is a complete pile and no tune...not good. You at the very least need a basemap man. I think you already knew the answer to your question.

So how can i go about getting a base tune, i'm not fortunate enough to live in cali or somewhere big so there is no one in my town that tunes, it sucks. Can i buy an ecm online that has a base tune on it already or can i buy some hardware to modify my ecm, maybe a chip or something, What are my options basically for tuning?

oh and what does dsm stand for?
DSM stands for: Diamond-Star-Motors

And check out www.phearable.net You can send in your ecu to these guys with your setup and they can chip your ecu and put a basemap on it. I would also search around and find a shop though. Even if it might be a few hours away it's worth it to have the car tuned properly. Any way you look at it a basemap is 100% temporary and your car will not last on it if you boost all day long. I know it sucks being in a remote area, but that's the only reliable way to go.

so will the injectors out of any of those bolt right into my car? and do they flow enough for a turbocharged application?

They are not a direct bolt in but they can be made to fit for cheap. They will support a very mild turbo application.
