It could be bad blow back which is basically what the first two guys said. You should probably keep a bottle of oil with you and just grin and bear it.

The arrow is where the cam seal is. I got an aftermarket one, with multiple o-rings to provide better protection against leaks. It was a Blox cam seal, and was about $20 after shipping. You also want to get a new valvecover gasket. The circled portion looks like a leak from the gasket on the left side of the valve cover. A new gasket will be about $12. For good measure, you may want to get some silicone gasket maker/sealant. You can get Hondabond HT at your local acura/honda dealer, for about $12. apply it to the surface where the VC gasket makes contact with the head, and around the perimeter of the cam seal. You can do all of this yourself with a little time.

For reference

The hondabond is available at the dealer

No it isnt. The VC gasket fits between the valvecover (cylinder head cover) and the cylinder head. The headgasket fits in between the block and the cylinder head.

thank you very much. thats exactly what i needed. wil be ordering and give a good update.
The site I listed wasnt the site I purchased my cam seal from. It was the first link that popped up in a search. You may be able to find a better deal with a lesser shipping charge. Actually after looking at it with the shipping, its pretty comparable to what I purchased, about 20.00.

That would depend on the issues other issues you have. The VC gasket is a given if you remove the head, because its probably pretty old and will not seal properly when you try to put it back on. You can change the dizzy Oring if your leaking at the back of the VC, the cam seal if your leaking at the front. Replacing the headgasket usually means getting the head resurfaced, to insure a good seal. The original posters burning oil was due to a leak running down to his header. If you have oil coming out of the exhaust, thats a different story.

You have to clear it to pass inspection... Other than that you can drive with the CEL on, but if you dont know caused it to come on, it could possibly result in some costly repairs
