help, stripped bolt

so i was gonna put my thermostat on but as i was unbolting the screws one of them was stripped any tips on how to un screw a stripped bolt

Go get some easy outs. Or one of those gator grip sockets.

CHEEPO: Take your socket wrench or whatever you're using and put a lot of super hardcore crazy glue and let it sit on the bolt till it dries. When dried crank it out and you have a nice mess and a new delima, how to get the bolt out of the socket!

pound a black 1/2 impact socket on it.
