Newbie! Need Help With Gauge Installation Location

HEY everyone i have 2000 GSR that im putting a little turbo kit together for my car but i want to install the gauges so that it not visisble i want to install the guages that have that has that dark film on it so when the car is off you can really see the guages....

well my problem is where to install them i do not want to install it on the pillar becouse its way TOOOO noticable and i dont want to cut up my dash by installing it it the dimmer spot or the cruis control... i want to insall it under the radio in that little slot whit tinted gauges!!
has anyone done that if so can you send me some pics or some advice on how to do it ( the instalation)or matirials to use in making it pleas!!!!!!
im trying to keep my car as clean as possible and as stealthy as possible:twisted:

like i said if you guys can give me any advice on instaltion on how to do it i would greatly appreciat it

iknow that i am going to by buying street glow gauges that are 52mm big

Well if you want real stealth, even you wont be able to see it easily, which defeats the purpose of a gauge? if you want it to be funtionable but have a way to conseal it, you can maybe put it into the ash tray, so that when you pull it out you can see it. It will take some modification, but anywhere you want to hide that thing, will take modification. If it was me, I would search for some kind of flip up tray, and cut into the dash to have it there. Flip up while youre driving around to see it, then close it while youre away.

i reaLLY LIKE THAT IDEA OF THE FLIP UP TRAY!! I WONDER IF IT HAS BEEN DONE?
