intake manifold help

Im lookin at trading some stuff for a venom intake manifold. I was wondering what everyone thought of them, How much hp gain i will get and anything else you can think of.

What kind of IM? Cast, sheet metal, what? Need more info since Im not super familiar with their products

its a tin intake manifold the guy says ill get about 20 hp i just wanted to check what he said

The only way you'll get 20HP from that IM is if your already running a turbo or supercharger, or if you already have a serious all motor build and the IM is the last mod you need to finish the engine.

So what are your current mods?

The last thread he had that was closed said he has a Stock LS. I wouldnt put on a new intake manifold. Your engine runs fine on the stock one. Only way you would need it is if you have a built motor or are running a turbo set up, as was previously mentioned.

CAI, exhaust, mild cam. If it will help or atleast not hurt performance any ill get it im getting a hell of a deal on it. cams are not in it yet i would rather do the whole head at once and be done withi that untill i finish rounding up parts for my complete build up

Even with a mild cam, I wouldn't put it on. It's too big for a mild B18A all motor build.
Keep your stock IM and put in an aftermarket intake manifold gasket. They reduce heatsoak from the head to the IM, which reduces air temperature. Denser air = more oxygen to burn in the combustion chamber = more power.

so you're saying if you gained absolutely nothing you would still buy it?
