Yeah, well detailing isn't possible until the snow goes away. I'm not going to waste the time only to have it get all messed up again. It was just heavily detailed in December after the accident, but the slush and snow messed it up all over again.

You should periodically wash the car off...even if you think its not doing any good. There is alot of road contaminants mixed in with that salt, and combined with that salt, its hell on car paint.

well i know that. i thought by "detailing" you meant waxing it and everything like that. i have been washing it off because i'm trying to avoid any further rust. i know that washing it does good. i just meant i'm not going to go through the effort of waxing it and everything right now.

thanks =) it looks way prettier when it's clean. i got a chance to wash it off the next day, but of course it was immediately re dirty after driving it. i can't wait to post pics after i detail it this spring.
