uhhhh.. advice needed!

I bought me those set of SIs the other day and they need paint due to the fact that they been scrubbed and stripped, so their loaded wit a shyt load of scrathes.. And was wondering if any of you guys know what is the best way to prep them up and get them like spray painted.. Dnt feel like powder coating them. Cost too much.

Why don't you just have them polished? I'm not a fan of painted OEM wheels. But do as you wish. You're car, your money.

Depends on how deep the scratches are, and without a picture we can't help you too much besides the obvious advice: Start with coarse sandpaper and work you way up. In order to prep for a simple spray job I would finish with at least a 2000 wet sand. To make the job easier you could start with a basic 750 dry sand followed by a 1000 wet sand, 1500 wet sand, last 2000, then paint.

polishing takes a long time.... I've been wanting to polish the intake manifold on my Jetta forever, but it takes like 4 hours per grit of sandpaper LOL

no way. took me 6hrs ish per rim when I polished my blades.

get a small sander and you can do it in record speed. That how I did all mine and I got rid of all the rashes and scratches.

what you guys think bout the scoth brite pads to get rid of scratchs for now. cuz shop is 20 min away frm my house, and my license suspended, due to some health reasonss. I swear to god, i didnt bs around.. cnt anywayz..
