00 integra weird starting issue

ok this is my first obd2 teg or honda period of that matter

so its a 00 ls and it randomly stopped starting so i said ok..its either fuel or fire...

swapped dizzys, nothing

got it barely started off of carb cleaner so i knew it was fuel

so, i was hearing the fuel pump running, so hooked up noid lights, while cranking, no pulse

and take off spark plug a lil bit while cranking, no spark seen

but then i got it started twice...carb cleaner helped some but then would run completely on its own... had spark, noid lights was showing lots of pulse

so im wondering, while cranking do obd2 cars, although sounds stupid and unlikely, not show spark or injectors pulsing? or what could this be

thanks, i tried searching but this is so weird that i couldnt find anything

so what are ya'll's thoughts?

....jk. Okay but really, this is about my old DC integra, and the car ran just fine and normal, then all the sudden wouldn't start within like 15 minutes of cutting it off.

Weird thing about swapping the dizzys is, a week ago when we did it, both dizzys would get a spark while just turning the key and cranking yet, yet after messing with it tonight it wouldn't show spark while cranking it, yet the car managed to start up?

And the other thing that strikes me as REALLY fucking weird, is after you manage to use the starting fluid to get it running, it literally runs like a champ ,just like normal.

you could be loosing power while your in the start position, check for power at the dizzy and see if it stays on while cranking. if u have access to a scanner watch the rpms while cranking. these kinds of problems are pretty tricky.

when is the last time a full tune up was done?
NGKs within the last year, NGK 'blue' wires same time, new dizzy cap and rotor button when the coil was replaced in hopes that was the original issue.

my problem was in fact the immobilizer, from what i have learned from research and trial/error in the past few days, the immobilizer does not kill the starter, it kills ignition and fuel seeing as how the starter is not controlled by the ecu, the transponders go bad and you either have to change the pickup inside the steering column or your key may need to be reprogrammed, the other way that i wouldnt recommend unless in an emergency situiation is to take the immobilizer chip out of the ecu

who woulda thought
