My suggestion is to keep the look clean and don't go too crazy on mods if this is your daily driver. Keep in mind that lowering your car makes the ride less comfortable. I just dropped the front an inch with an eibach pro kit; even that much made a huge difference as far as looks goes. I prefer a clean look on my cars, so I swapped out the exterior lighting on my car, i.e. clear turns. I also switched all the interior bulbs to LEDs, a cheap lil maneuver, but definitely an improvement. Skip the supercharger, as others have already said, go with intake and exhaust combination, and body kits, well, whatever you like. Me, I just ordered skirts and a lip. I removed the wing, but that was just my preference there. I think it looks cleaner that way. I bought it with an aluminum wing, but have since sold it on craigslist. My recommendation is don't buy from ebay and you get what you pay for. So you buy cheap products, you get cheap results. Stick with the name brand stuff. I made that mistake when I was 16.
Pick up import magazines when they spotlight someone's teg and copy what you like. That's what I did with my MR2 and I was very pleased with the results. Oh, and when you do the interior, may I recommend no racing seats. Not too comfortable. Oh, and white gets dingy. Looks really nice in the beginning, but a year or two down the road, not going to be too pleased. Did that too, and yeah, does not look good no matter how well you clean it.
This is my third import car that I'm fixing up, made the vast majority of mistakes on my first car, and have since learned from it. Have fun, make it unique, and remember, in the end, make the final call on whatever it is you do on your teg.
