i know this is retarted to ask probbaly but ive just always been curious about it...ok so you know how many aftermarket exhuasts like the ws2 or evo2 are 2.36" and they say they are bolt on to stock cat and go ?....but isnt stock cat like 2.00" to fit the pipe? i know that probably sounds confusing lol but im basicly saying ***how can the exhuast pipes go from like the stock 2.00" to 2.36" and be all bolt on with no extra cutting or welding?****

they are talking about inside diameter not outside.. it will bolt up just fine as the outside diameter on the flanges line up to bolt right in.

No, the OD of the pipe is larger as well. The flange is just the same size externally. The piping is larger but has a flange with bolt holes that matches the stock one
