B18A cylinder pressure

Whats a normal cylinder pressure on a B18A1? I tested mine and it came out (from passenger side to driver side) 170psi, 160psi, 165psi, 170psi.

I believe that's on the money. I think that a gsr is around 185

Just checking, Not bad for a 136k mile motor huh? Not rebuilt and OEM head gasket. Bought a cold air intake because it was a steal at $22 (because it's an ugly green color) and it's much louder at high rpms.

For a B18A1...........

Nominal = 185psi
Minimum = 135psi

No more than a 28psi difference between cylinders

Your engine is right on the money. Nice and healthy internally

That seems really high, GSRs have like 10:1 compression ratio right? non-vtec has 9.2:1

Yes, they are 10:1. 270psi is the maximum for a B18C1. That's what Honda calls for

i bet it is aussie...my buddies 13:1 comp b18c block/ b16 head pins the needle on the compression gauge at 300
