dont waste your time. go with a chipped p28 or p72. then get a custom chip made or the best thing; get tuned.

I could spray a can of ether into the intake of a firebird and make it run faster

I have one sitting in my garage. It basically acts like a pre-programmed chip. If all you have is a intake, header, and exhaust it is benefical. Any more mods and you are better off with something you can tune. This is probably a better mod for someone with an automatic because of the lack of support for tuning. IT's pretty easy to install.

yeah but its not relevant to integras. the chip for a different car could be better than the one for our 4 cyl hondas.

he said does anyone have any experience with it. i told him what i experienced with it.
made a basically stock car faster. and after he took it off it didnt run right.

If the car ran bad after he took it off, chances are he broke his tps or map sensor wire. There's basically 4 connections-power, ground, tps, and map. The venom just bumps up the fuel map on an even progression. The gain is noticable on a stock or mildly built car-around what adding a cold air intake to a stock car. The downside is reduction in gas mileage-around 1-2mpg. On the plus side, there is an on off switch.
