I oughta change the fuel filter on the Teg first of all, maybe could use a valve adjustment too. I have done a valve adjustment on the Teg before, but I dunno how to change a fuel filter, but I've got a Helm's to help me out. It's never been changed since I bought the car and that was 77,000 miles ago.

Looking at the motor the fuel filter will be on the back left against the firewall to the left of the intake manifold and for you g3 guys to the right of the batter. There's two fuel lines going to it and a bracket holding it against the fire-wall. Make sure not to mix up the fuel lines but it's a pretty simple install. Also there are crush washers, don't reuse these.

The DC2's going to love the new fuel filter. Last time I changed mine was at 180,000. I'm at 222,000 right now.

Are the lines under pressure? Will gas spew everywhere when the lines come off?

I will usually let the car sit for a little before changing it but you will have some gas come out. Just stuff a towel or a bunch of rags around the lines when you take them off. Keeping them held up will also limit the amount of gas that comes out.

This is pretty much my normal thing for every car i get because nobody every takes car of there car and it is usually mandatory to do all the stuff listed and it always makes my cars run soo much better.
