Help me Pick between these 2 headers!

Im looking to replace my daily driver/weekend dragers header and i want to keep my cat and i have a 2.36inch exhaust system so i cant get a 2.5 collector. No bottlenecking for me. You pick the better header for me that will cut the most off my drag times on the weekend!!

If it were my choice I'd get a Greddy. But your best drag header would be a equal length turbo header. So if u plan on boostin down the line save the money for that.

The greddy is only 2.25 inch. Neither one of those is good for what you want.

Depends on his motor. Both of those are 2.25 inch unless he's talking about the jdm dc 4-1. He doesn't want a 2.5 inch header and I don't know of any 2.36inch ones that aren't going to be custom so your kinda stuck. IF I was you I would by a less expensive tri-y header like the highend from password jdm and get the 2.5 inch collector cut off and have a 2.36 inch one welded on.

ok but if it were for you and you drag ur DD sometimes would you choose a Greddy 4-2-1 or a DC 4-1 non jdm?

I currently have the greddy evo2 cat back exhuast and the PWJDM whale penis intake and i am in such a pickle deciding between the greddy 4-2-1 and DC 4-1 header. What in the world would give me better drag times with those mods in your opinion?!?!

Get the greddy header. Make sure you get the 1 piece and not the 2 piece.

I despite questions like this, it's almost like the only way you'll get a definite answer is to bolt them both up and make a few paases with each.

ok and heres the dilema i have with that...wont a 4-2-1 do me no good when im going through gears with it floored becuase it gives midrage power but im not under 5500rpms at all when draggin. only for a bit in 1st gear...whats peoples thought on this?

My thought is the difference may be 1 or 2 hp above 6500 rpms or so. Probably about the equivalent of taking a crap before you go drag racing
