Is it good to run a cat converter on these cars?

I need to go past 110. You should run a cat but that won't affect going over 110 unless it's old and clogged.

I'm thinking if you can't get up past 110mph something is wrong.

But running without a catalytic converter is illegal..so not only is it good, its required..and with the well designed high-flow cats. that are available now, there wouldn't be an appreciable increase in power running without the cat.
