Chirp from 1st to 3rd!
I have a 96 LS Coupe.Everytime time I go to my car after it rains it always seems to be wet in the back where the spare tire goes.Does this happen to anybody else? Help me out please.
Hatch leaking problem.

I read somewhere that the problem can be the seal around the lights.

it could be that, but also a very common issue is the sunroof leaking. take all the panels out of the hatch and you will find the tubes running along the inside of the quarter panels. make sure they are connected to the elbows that drain the water outside the car. sometimes they become disconnected and drain into the hatch

The windows will still get fogged up like crazy.
Ive never heard of the sunroof drain deal. Any more details on that?

Yeah i'm not too sure but i don't think it's the taillight gasket.. .and there already is a hole right beneath the spare tire. .with some plug type thing covering it.

hey bud.. had the exact problem.. i checked a few more things. check where the hatch meets the roof for damage to the seal around the edge of the hatch. also i took a bottle of water and opened my sunroof and poured a little in the runners and made sure that the drain tubes were connected and not cracked. sure enough i didnt find any water on the ground and it had dirt clogging it and was leakin down into the drivers seat.. sucks driving with a wet ass.. but you may try that out.
