It is to be expected when a car is old and you do not know the maintenance history of the car... I would just look t getting the axles, and timing belt, waterpump as normal expected maintenance. I would ask your mechanic what he recommends to do on the tranny though.Today i found out the car have 2 axles damage looks like the timing belt is going and the transmission slips oil on tranny smells burnt like its going great im not gonna quit on my car though what to do now? the bodys great on the car but its costing me more then i thought
LOL I didn't notice! Guess I read too fasthow has no one corrected him yet? OBD not OBT. i would have thought that would have been the first reply. honestly, just buy a full swap that will come with the new motor, tranny, axles and everything. then you just need the simple auto to manual stuff and the car will be a lot better.
