can any one tell me what size the front and rear speakers are in a 98 ls

6.5in. door speakers and back seat speakers . I think the tweeters are 1in.

Though you may need shallow mount speakers. I have some wood blocks as spacers to give me clearance from a bar that runs on the interior of the door. Not sure if it is in all 3rd gen tegs though

Go to Crutchfield.com and look for speakers they set up your shoppin for speakers that will fit for your car! its great!

There is an OEM basket that your speakers sit in. If you remove that, just carve the back of it and use the ring thats left to mount the new speaker in there. Ive got Kicker 6.5s in my GSR and they fit fine with no window clearance issues

ya i took out the spacer to and have infinity 6.5 and they dont touch either

I have the Kicker componet set in my LS also

I bought 6.5" Alpine Type R components and they wouldnt fit without significant cutting. I had to downgrade to Kenwoods
