thats funny i run around on a hytech replica, carsound cat, itr B pipe with a custom straight pipe on the axle back, it has a four inch slanted tip. i have never gotten pulled over and i have had it on my car for like 3 months. it is definatly the best sounding exauhst i have ever heard on a b series motor. and at all the car meets every one wants to know what kind of exhaust im running. personaly i dont like the n1 cat back because it sounds buzzy to me, i like the ws2 but seriously you shouldnt consider this if you are going to build your motor with anything more than E/H/I . honestly for each car the exhaust should be different for the type of mods they have and what kind of racing they do. for starters little backpressure in the exhaust gives you power at mid range to lower rpm, where a more restrictive exhaust that has more back pressure will usually give you better top end. most people that do drag racing will use in between those two extremes
i chose to go with less back pressure im my exhaust because i want to do touge/road racing. so my opinion is tune your exhaust for what you plan on doing instead of buying it for looks or sound because those can always be changed...............
