No lower valance on front bumper and only lip?

Should I go with just the front bumper cover without a lower valance and just put the lip under it or just go with the regular OEM style? I see a lot of other people's cars and they all either have the lower valance with a lip or no lip at all so I was wondering if it would look too weird if it was just the bumper cover and lip. I kinda want it without the lower valance cause there's a lot of hills and bumps where i live so i'm afraid of scraping a lot. ideas? thanx!

examples of lower valence? i have no clue what you are talking about
sorry the pic is big but the lower valance (at least to my understanding and what i've researched on) is the piece of the front bumper that's under the bumper turning lights

and here's a pic of the front without that lower valance and just a lip

btw these pix aren't mine and aren't my car. i just googled it for examples

all lips go on that valence part your talking about. i don't think i've seen a lip without the valence part but you shouldn't scrap anything with or without the lip unless you plan on dropping your car.

i plan on to. i have 17" rims on right now and they look pretty sweet to me but it makes my car look hella high. so I'm planning on dropping bout and inch and a half or so. i would put pix up but don't have any good ones right now and the front end is all torn up so that's why i'm trying to find a good set up for my front end.

oh btw those are two completely different cars. The second one DOES have the lower valence its just a 98+ front bumper as apposed to the other which is a 94-97 front. You can put a lip on the 94-97 which will look good. In the second pic there is a lower valence its just covered by the lip

sweet thanx for clarifying!! also I was thinking of getting those fogs that are on that blue teg. would it be fit with just a lip or would it need more room in the grille?

i see you have a 95 teg. The blue teg is a 98+ front end. The fog lights are completely different between the two fronts.
I have a 95 teg as well and i have the OEM fog lights (Pic for reference), which they now sell on ebay at a much better price, but are replicas. Click here for one auction. Look around for good deal

yeah, I researched those and I kinda like them but they're just too small for my taste. another guy on here had those raybrig foglights that were just like those ones on that blue teg above and so i wanna get those. I found one set but I would have to do a 98+ bumper conversion.

I've just been back and forth about doing that conversion cuz i like the lips on 98+ models but then that didn't convince me enough to do the conversion and i didn't know there were any different foglights other than those OEM ones that you have CortezBanks until recently.

so i think i'm definitely going with those big foglights with 98+ bumper conversion and an itr front lip. sound good?

oh yeah and i know with the 98+ bumper conversion you need clips or whatever, i think, would i have to buy those or just take them off of a 98+ teg?

Yes, you'd just have to find someone selling a '98-'01 bumper and headlights. Like I said in the PM, make sure your bumper has the turn signal clips (most probably will). You can get this for $200 - $300 depending on condition.
