Keep on Truckin
so my front windshield was starting to look pretty bad as far as clean goes and windex wasnt cutting it. so i went to the old man for some advice and this is what he had me do.
1) Using a CLEAN razor blade and ammonia(found in household cleaning dept of any store) scrape the entire surface of the window in 2 directions.I first did side to side, then top to bottom. When your done with this use a clean towel and wipe off the excess ammonia. *when your using the razor blade be sure to apply even pressure so you avoid causing any scratches*
2) Then use a spray on wax on the window surface. Apply it just like you would to any surface of your car. Then take it off with a clean section of towel. This was a great thing for 2 reasons- 1 it applied a really nice shine, 2 it works just like that rain-x stuff so it should hopefully stay clean longer.
3) Finally use that trusty bottle windex and do a good cleaning to remove any excess wax residue.
If you do this on all of your windows im sure youll see an improvement. I know i did. I was very surprised but this really did a great job of getting all the crap off my windows that wouldnt come off with a normal wash. I would post pics, but i was in a rush when i did this and didnt get a chance to get any. I hope this helps some of yall out!![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
