Fuel pump help

I'm strongly considering going turbo on my '97 GSR. Since I live in Cali I'm pretty much forced to use the Edelbrock turbo kit for it's 50-state legal status (Can't find a GReddy kit w/o e-manage).

Would it be a necessary to upgrade my fuel pump, and if so any recommendations on which fuel pump to use?

As of right now I have a completely stock engine except for exhuast.

walbro 255 lph pump....it's a MUST to upgrade the fuel pump/injectors/and have some sort of GOOD engine management when you go turbo. You can get the pump for under a $100.

wait whats e-manage on the gready?
Greddy's Engine Management System. Not a lot of people like it at all i guess it's a pain the ass and with the greddy kit combined with emanage you can't make shit for power either. This is what i've heard over the years.

I don't see why not. I made 437awhp with an 18G and Greddy Emanage on my Eclipse GSX.

The 18G will flow around 600cfm @ 1bar. That's plenty capable of making decent power

Sorry I "worded" my post wrong. I've just heard that Emanage isn't a popular system among hondas and I haven't heard of alot of tuners who use it for hondas. I'm sure the 18g is a good turbo but the Greddy Kit doesn't make very good power on hondas....unless i'm mistaken :D

I haven't seen many people with Honda's make very much power with it either. It may be due to the fact that most people who buy it just want a CARB legal kit to give them a nice jump in power but nothing ridiculous. I'm not really a fan of Emanage either, that's why I replaced it.

But the Integra kit does come with limiting factors such as the Emanage, 310cc injectors etc.
