okay sounds good just making sure that it won't blow up like it did to the guy i bought it from. what are the reasons why a motor would develop a rod knock and then blow a rod thru the case?

Sub par tuning, unhealthy internals, or anything that may have caused a lean condition under boost such as low fuel, hitting the fuel cut, sub par tuning...etc.

Dude u will be fine get a decent tune and put the shit on. im running 12 psi on my integra and daily driven it to work and i have just a standard base map tune on it runs fine.

im interested to see if you are really hitting 12psi cuz i already told you how the stock map sensor wont read that high. most boost gauges are slightly off, so its possible you are only hitting 10 or so.

oil pressure is another reason
