That shaking happened with me also. I had warped rotors and i only felt it when i was braking at high speeds. Also i felt a lot of the vibrations from the brake pedal. hope that helps.

so which is better? brand new rotars or just getting my current ones shaved?

brand new ones are better, but if your stock rotors have enough life on them they can be resurfaced.
