Painting... the whole car....

So I have to put a new fender on and have decided I will just paint the whole car. (Paints kinda faded)

Everyone out there that has had their integra painted how much did it cost ya? I just want to get a rough idea.

I got a quote from a reputable paint shop. M1 Auto Body. Quoted me $4000-$5000. Entire car.

also depends on if you have any body work needed, and if you do it yourself and prep everything before you take it to the shop so they just have to do a quick sand, tack cloth it and spray it down. Its a lot of work, but saves you a decent amount of money considering how much labor it takes to do all that.

Yeah plus the paint will be the same color so the car wont be jammed or anything. I thought about sanding it all down.

If you plan on prepping the car for paint. You might as well buy a paint gun and paint it yourself...it's even cheaper.

hell yea, i so would do that, but here in cali you get a huge fine and some jail time if you dont do it in a propper paint both... that is, if you get caught lol

I live in Missouri.... and in a small town.... I wont have to worry about that. My dad paints motorcycles maybe I just get him to do it :lol:

^^ thats the way to do it. i'd say 1500 for a good paint job from a shop, all prep and paint included. 800 for ok one, and 300-500 if you just want to sell the car.

Yeah we know a guy that does excellent work... i do mean perfect. I am afraid to get a quote.... my scare me to death lol... that and its out of my way buy i think i will have to make the drive up there bc he is worth paying extra for
