Hello all,
I'm new on here and have been looking for an Integra for some time now. Yesterday I went to go check out a GSR locally and wanted to get some opinions on it. It's a '94 DC2 with 200,xxx miles; body/paint looked pretty clean besides a fairly mean dent on the passenger side door. Mechanically it seems to pull pretty hard and shifts smoothly. The clutch feels a bit soft and the during the test drive the clutch pedal fell to the floor a couple of times (probably slave cylinder). It's all stock and the owner (a bit of an older lady) is the original owner. Personally I thought it was a great car but the thing that's bothering me is she doesn't have any service records and doesn't remember when any of the critical maintenance was performed (timing belt, clutch, plugs/wires, etc.). The car also burns about a quart of oil per ~1000 miles and I'm kind of hesitant because of the high mileage. She's asking $3600 for it (and is pretty firm). What do you guys think?
Thanks for any help!
********EDIT: 9/26/2008********
Checked out another one yesterday, here are the details:
1997 DC2 w/ 84,000 miles
2nd owner, with service records of everything she has done in the past 5 years (60k service, tune-ups, etc.), NO timing belt though.
She also mentioned that for 97's they didn't pass Cali. emissions (or something like that) and the dealer performed some kind of repair/maint. for this.
Car needs a new radiator, and nothing else; body is clean.
About how much should I offer for this?
Thanks a lot!
